There are so many things in life that must be learned through experience. Either direct through your own failures or through a mentor. If you are starting something new, or going into uncharted territory its easy to say “i’m smart”, “ill figure it out”, “theres tons of free resources out there”. But, you don’t know what you don’t know. And what you don’t know is VERY expensive.
I call it ignorance tax.
I’ve personally paid a couple hundred thousand dollars in ignorance tax. I was unaware of how much I didn’t know when I started running a gym. I did learn though. Looking back, a 10k mentorship would have saved me 150k plus if I had got it sooner.
There are people out there that have already been through the pain.
They’ve failed and learned doing the thing you are trying to do right now.
They want to help you.
Its just a matter of finding someone you vibe with and trust and becoming aware that you cannot do this alone.
It all starts with awareness. You must be aware that there is a more efficient path out there. It might be “expensive” compared to other things you’ve bought before but it will save you hundreds of thousands.
